LOCATION: Montreal, hybrid work model (working from home and the office)

DESCRIPTION

The Junior HR Advisor will be part of a great dynamic team and will answer to the Director of Human Resources. In this generalist role, you’ll work closely with the members of our human resources team on a series of tasks and projects, and you will work on the entire employee life cycle such as recruitment, employment changes, departures, etc. Your responsibilities include:

 1. Employer Brand

  • Spread the employer brand, participate to its internal and external promotion.

 2- Staffing

  • Apply creative recruitment strategies to improve workforce attraction;
  • Update job profiles;
  • Perform tasks related to recruitment and onboarding of new employees;
  • Ensure the employee onboarding process is of high quality.

3- Skills Development

Support the HR Advisor and the Insum Academy with the application of procedures to develop our personnel’s skills.

4- Performance Management

  • Participate in the performance management process and support the HR team with these procedures.

5- Advisory Role

  • Be an adviser to employees and answer their questions about HR policies, social benefits, among others.

6- Well-being & Engagement

  • Help coordinate events about employee well-being and social life at work.

 7- Administrative Management of Personnel

  • Give administrative support to the HR department, depending on needs, with tasks such as record keeping, file maintenance, and data entry in the HRIS as well as other daily tasks;
  • Work in collaboration with the Finance department on topics such as group insurance and retirement plans, among others.

8- Others

  • Participate in various HR development projects in line with corporate strategic direction;
  • Perform any other related tasks that might evolve depending on the creation of this position.

Job requirements

You are:

  • Passionate and curious, with a genuine thirst for knowledge.

  • Detail-oriented with a desire to reach excellence, all while being flexible and agile.
  • Bilingual in the official languages (French and English), both written and oral. (Spanish an asset).
  • Attentive with an ability to be discreet and keep information confidential.
  • Skilled communication. It is easy for you to develop positive interpersonal relationships and you know how to expertly interact with all hierarchic levels within the company.

Your experience and skills include:

  • A degree, baccalaureate, or other diploma in human resources management. Any other combination of school and work experience might be taken into consideration.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in HR administrative support
  • Professional order: CHRP/CIRC (an asset)
  • Liking having fun
